Every kit includes 3 Zara Spook Walk-the-Dog Stickbaits in 3 different colorways, a FREE Tackle Organizer Box to keep your lures protected and trip-ready, and a FREE Pro Angler's Guide covering retrieve cadence, color selection, rod angles, and prime feeding windows.
Cast out and raise your rod from 9 to 10 o'clock before closing the bail to create slack. Drop, snap the rod tip up, take up a little slack with the reel, and repeat in rhythm. Work the rod — not the reel. When a bass blows up, wait until you feel the weight before setting the hook.
Use 12–17lb monofilament. Mono floats and maintains the slack needed for perfect walk-the-dog action. Avoid fluorocarbon as a mainline — it sinks and kills the action. If using braid, add a 12–18 inch mono leader.
Dawn and dusk are prime, but the Zara Spook produces all day in the right conditions. Best results come during late pre-spawn through late fall, in clear water with a light breeze. Also effective at midday over deep structure and at night near lights.
